In the second surveillance audit on 09 November 2023, SOCOTEC Certifications Philippines, Inc. recommended the National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) to maintain its ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Aside from the audit of the top management and internal quality audit process, the representatives from the SOCOTEC Certifications Philippines, Inc. audited the NDCP’s core or major programs, which include academic and research; and support processes namely: document control, procurement, general services, ICT, and library.

During the closing meeting, SOCOTEC auditors commended the NDCP leadership’s commitment to the continual implementation and improvement of the NDCP Quality Management System and recommended maintaining its ISO 9001:2015 certification.

In his closing remarks, LtGen Ferdinand M Cartujano PAF (Ret), NDCP President, encouraged the personnel to continually strive to improve the NDCP’s work processes and provide quality performance and services. He also encouraged everyone to be guided, chastened, and inspired by the ISO certification.

The NDCP received its ISO 9001:2015 recertification on 29 December 2021, which covered the conduct of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Program and Research Program.
