The National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) participated as subject matter experts (SMEs) in the Faculty Development Seminar of the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) from 24 to 25 July 2019. Said seminar was held at Fort Gregorio del Pilar in Baguio City. It will run until 26 July 2019.
NDCP officials and faculty, led by NDCP Executive Vice President (EVP) Director Rolando G Jungco, delivered lectures on national security.
Mr Rostum J Bautista MNSA, Chief of the NDCP’s Academic Affairs Division expressed appreciation for the engagement.
He said,”This is an academic breakthrough in defense and security education of the PMA and NDCP, the alpha and the omega of the defense and security academic institutions.”
Established in 1898, the PMA is the officers training school of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP). It is in the midst of implementing the Bachelor of Science in National Security Management program for the cadet corps.
The NDCP is the government’s highest academic institution for education, training and research on national defense and security. It confers the degree of Master in National Security Administration.
