The National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) inducted the class officers of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA) Regular Class 59—led by its Class President, Capt Marissa Arlene A Martinez PN—on 20 October 2023 at NDCP.
The ceremony also showcased the turnover of the symbolic key from MNSA Regular Class 58 class officers to the current class. The key is a symbol of inspiration to MNSA students to strive for academic excellence, honor, and integrity. It also serves as a reminder for MNSA Regular Class 59 to sustain their energy, enthusiasm, and dedication to “unlock” national, regional, and global challenges.
In his closing remarks, LtGen Ferdinand M Cartujano PAF (Ret), President of the NDCP, called on the current students to remain steadfast amid an unpredictable environment, emphasizing that all the sacrifice will help them become leaders who are more effective and efficient.
“I hope that you will always ignite the leader in you—a leader who is decisive, resolute, and steadfast in achieving not only the short-term greater good, but the premise of the long-term betterment of the welfare of your respective countrymen,” LtGen Cartujano added.
