The National Defense College of the Philippines (NDCP) welcomed its counterpart from India, the National Defense College (NDC), during the latter’s visit on 6 June 2022.
The NDC’s delegation, which comprised 17 officers and staff, was led by Major General Manoj Kumar, NDC Senior Directing Staff.
During its visit at NDCP, the NDC (India) received briefings from the College, Department of National Defense, Department of Foreign Affairs, National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA), and the National Security Council (NSC). The Indian delegates and the briefing officers discussed issues related to national security and regional stability.
Interactions with counterpart institutions are in line with NDCP’s thrust to engage the international community and share views on the most pressing issues with implications for national and international security in the spirit of academic freedom and non-attribution.
NDCP and NDC (India) both participate in the annual ASEAN Regional Forum Heads of Defense Universities, Colleges, and Institutions Meeting (ARFHDUCIM), participation in which forms part of NDCP’s international defense and security engagements.
